If you are interested in applying for a Clerical Trainee
position with the Health Division, please forward a copy
of your NVAPPS Applicant Profile or Resume with a cover

When will I get a response? |
|
After all applications have been evaluated, the Division
of Human Resource Management will email you a letter
informing you of your eligibility status. This may take
anywhere from two weeks to two months depending on the
number of applicants and the amount of time for which
the recruitment is open. |
|

|
Will I be interviewed? |
|
When the list of eligible candidates is ranked by score
the top five applicants will be invited to interview.
If the list is unranked the agency will choose at least
five candidates who appear to be most qualified based on
education and experience. The candidates are contacted
by telephone or email. Interviews are conducted by a
panel of subject matter experts. All questions are job
related. Occasionally an applicant's skills will be
tested. |

How can I prepare for the test and /or interview? |
|
Read the announcement
carefully. It will describe the position and the
knowledge, skills and abilities expected. Some
applicants have successfully used the ARCO books
available from a library. |
